This is a ROLEX Brown Confetti Index dial with gold markers and lume plots, 36mm - RARE!
This dial is what is known in the collector community as a ‘Confetti’ dial due it's unique texture and patina. The brown has aged to this incredibly spotted texture that gives the dial a depth and complexity that can only come from decades of use.
It was taken off a President Model #1803, S/N 1734733.
The only history I have is that it belonged to my Father who always had his and my Mother's Rolex's serviced at Lenox Jewelers in Fairfield, Connecticut. Lenox Jewelers is an Authorized Rolex Dealer who would not have serviced a Rolex that was not authentic.
